Distribution Center Associate - Shipping

Summary

The Distribution Center Associate is responsible for accurate receiving, storing, picking, put-away, and shipping of product to meet safety, security, and productivity standards. The role supports staging and loading outbound trailers and organizes product to prevent damage. This position operates in a fast-paced warehouse environment and requires adherence to team and departmental performance goals.

• Receive pallets and complete receipts by purchase order, aligning product by vendor
• Stage and load product into outbound trailers following shipping best practices
• Ensure accuracy and proper orientation of loads to prevent damage
• Stack and organize items to support safe handling and unloading
• Perform putaway, picking, and shipping tasks to maintain inventory accuracy
• Meet individual, team, and departmental productivity and performance goals
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse in compliance with federal, state, and local laws

• 1+ years of distribution or warehouse experience
• Basic mathematics and reading skills and strong understanding of inventory flow
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to consistently lift a minimum of 50 lbs and perform prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending, and climbing
