Senior Inventory Control Coordinator

Performance Food Group is seeking a Senior Inventory Control Coordinator to ensure accurate, efficient inventory operations in our wholesale food distribution center. In this role, you will lead daily cycle counts, research and resolve variances, and maintain accurate item, slot, and lot records in the WMS. You will analyze inventory data, investigate shrink, and coordinate with warehouse, purchasing, and transportation teams to support product availability and service levels.

The Senior Coordinator will help develop standard operating procedures, train staff on inventory practices, support audits, and champion PFG's safety-first, performance-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform daily cycle counts and full inventory counts
• Research and reconcile inventory variances and discrepancies
• Maintain accurate product, slot, and lot data in warehouse management systems
• Analyze inventory reports to identify trends, shrink, and process gaps
• Coordinate with warehouse, purchasing, and transportation to resolve inventory issues
• Support and prepare for internal and external inventory audits
• Develop and document inventory control procedures and best practices
• Train warehouse associates on inventory processes and standards
• Monitor inventory accuracy KPIs and recommend improvements
• Promote and follow all safety, food safety, and security procedures
