As an ecommerce-first business, our Operations team plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional customer experience—from receiving new inventory to ensuring every customer order is accurate.
We're looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive Jewelry Inventory Control & Returns Specialist to join our Operations team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, maintaining inventory accuracy, and working cross-functionally to keep our ecommerce business running smoothly.
What You'll Do Inventory Control- Maintain accurate inventory levels across our warehouse and ecommerce systems.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Perform inventory adjustments, cycle counts, and stock audits.
- Identify recurring inventory issues and recommend process improvements.
- Help ensure products are properly labeled, organized, and available for fulfillment.
- Process customer returns accurately and efficiently.
- Inspect returned jewelry for quality and determine resale eligibility.
- Ensure inventory is updated promptly following return processing.
- Research and resolve order issues related to missing inventory, oversells, and fulfillment discrepancies.
- Partner closely with the Customer Experience team to resolve customer order concerns quickly.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to locate missing products or identify replacement options.
- Help minimize order delays while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Receive incoming shipments and verify product quantities.
- Assist with unpacking, organizing, and stocking new inventory.
- Support warehouse operations during slower periods, including fulfillment and general operational tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, ecommerce fulfillment, returns processing, or a related operations role.
- Experience investigating inventory discrepancies, reconciling inventory, and maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Comfortable working with inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to jump in wherever needed.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with Operations and Customer Experience teams.
- Experience with Shopify or other ecommerce platforms.
- Experience using warehouse management or inventory software.
- Previous experience in jewelry, fashion, beauty, or consumer products.
- Familiarity with barcode scanning and inventory reconciliation.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs throughout the workday.
