We are looking for a motivated Semi Skilled Labourer to join our building team. The ideal candidate will have a wide array of practical abilities and be keen to build on their experience in the business. This employment is a fantastic opportunity to obtain practical experience in a variety of crafts and contribute to a range of projects including carpentry, roofing and general building work.

The successful applicant will be supervised but will be expected to take the initiative and have a strong work ethic. We can offer flexible working hours as some projects or contracts are weather based.

• Carpentry, roofing and masonry under the direction of senior craftsmen
• Help with construction, painting, plumbing & electrical installations
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Help with on-site fabrication work involving cutting, shaping and assembling components.
• Prepare work locations by cleaning and sorting tools and materials
• Ensure a safe working environment by attentively following health and safety procedures
• Help to load and unload products from vehicles such as lorries and vans
• Assist the team in meeting project deadlines and quality criteria

• Full UK driving Licence preferable
• Some previous experience in construction-related activities would be beneficial but not needed; training would be given for specific responsibilities
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is desirable
• Trades knowledge such as Carpentry, Roofing or Masonry will be considered an asset
• Experience with plumbing or electricity is a plus, but not required
• Willing to learn new skills and adaptable to many trades on site
• Reliability, physical fitness for manual jobs, and a proactive attitude towards safety and teamwork are required from applicants.
