Heavy Duty Equipment Maintenance Helper

Help Heavy Duty Mechanics service mining equipment near St. Lawrence with fuelling, lubrication, and organised shop support. This is a hands-on dayshift assignment.

ECM is seeking a Maintenance Labourer for a long-term hard-rock open-pit mining project in Newfoundland and Labrador. You will assist with equipment servicing, preventative maintenance, tools, parts, and maintenance materials. The work supports daily operations around large mobile and heavy equipment.

• Assist with equipment servicing and preventative maintenance
• Fuel equipment, lubricate components, and check fluid levels
• Stage tools, parts, and maintenance materials
• Perform general labour duties for daily operations
• Follow established safety procedures around heavy equipment

• Previous Heavy Duty Mechanics support experience considered an asset
• Familiarity with basic heavy equipment components considered an asset
• Dependable approach and effective maintenance team participation
• Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
