Computer Science Instructor Full-Time Tenure Track
This recruitment is open to all FULL TIME FACULTY beginning February 5, 2026, to February 15, 2026. Computer Science Instructor Full-Time Tenure Track

- Develop and deliver instructional lectures for Computer Science courses up to 10 hours/week
- Organize and teach all levels of Computer Science classes
- Use appropriate teaching methods to facilitate student learning
- Teach day, evening, and/or weekend teaching assignments, which may include distance learning (interactive television, online) and accelerated courses
- Assess Student Learning Outcomes every semester
- Participate in department, division, and college-wide initiatives and committees if desired
- Demonstrate sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
- Master’s in computer science or computer engineering OR
- Bachelor’s in either of the above AND
- Master’s in mathematics, cybernetics, business administration, accounting or engineering OR
- Bachelor’s in engineering AND
- Master’s in cybernetics, engineering, mathematics, or business administration OR
- Bachelor’s in mathematics AND
- Master’s in cybernetics, engineering, mathematics, or business administration OR
- Bachelor’s degree in any of the above AND
- A master’s degree in information science, computer information systems, or information systems
- OR the equivalent.
Preference may be given to candidates with life or teaching which would demonstrate the clear ability to teach Computer Science to community college students.

Salary Range$70,971 to $113,905 /YR. (Per Salary Schedule for Full Time Faculty)
