Special Education Teacher - Marysville, CA

Embark on an impactful opportunity supporting students in a vibrant educational environment! Multiple positions are available for contract Special Education Teachers for the  school year near Marysville, CA. These roles focus on mild/moderate (M/M), resource specialist program (RSP), emotionally disturbed (ED), and special day class (SDC) settings across K12 grades. Full-time hours (37.5/week) are offered for each position starting August 12, 2026, through June 4, 2027.

Qualifications and Desired

Experience:

• Valid and active CA Mild/Moderate, Extensive Support Needs (ESN), Moderate/Severe Credential, or equivalent required
• Proven experience working with students in special education programs (K-12 preferred)
• Ability to tailor instruction and adapt curriculum to a diverse range of learning profiles
• Knowledge of IEP processes, progress monitoring, and data-driven instruction
• Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction for students with special needs (grades K12 depending on role)
• Develop, implement, and evaluate IEPs in coordination with school teams and families
• Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment for social-emotional and academic growth
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and related service providers
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
