Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse license

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assume responsibility and accountability for a designated group of patients during assigned shifts.
• Assess patient needs and develop plans of nursing care based on the nursing process and input from patients and significant others.
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to coordinate patient care for diverse age groups.
• Provide patient education and plan for discharge based on individual patient needs.
• Delegate certain aspects of patient care to other nursing staff within their scope of practice.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions and adjust plans as necessary.
