- Provide direct patient care per medical-surgical standards and care plans.
- Monitor patient status, document outcomes, and communicate changes to the care team.
- Administer medications and treatments safely following protocols.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records.
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to optimize patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- Demonstrate accountability for personal performance metrics and outcomes.
- Seek ongoing professional development and pursue relevant certifications.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and discharge plans.
- Assist in triage and prioritization for high-volume patient flow.
- Active RN license with current state board certification.
- Minimum 2 years med-surg inpatient nursing experience.
- Ability to administer medications and treatments per protocols.
- Strong infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance knowledge.
- Proficient in electronic health records and documentation accuracy.
- Excellent communication and teamwork with multidisciplinary care teams.
- Clinical decision-making with prioritization in high-volume settings.
- Participation in quality improvement initiatives and outcome tracking.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and relevant certifications.
- Patient and family education skills for discharge planning.
