Overview

Registered Nurse, Oncology — Marysville, CA
Start: 08/10/2026 | Duration: 8 weeks | Weekly pay: 746-788 per week |

Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts (36 hours per week) | Travel - Temporary Assignment
Inpatient oncology care within a high-volume healthcare setting. The RN will assume responsibility for a group of patients for each designated shift, delivering care aligned with the medical plan of care and informed by patient and family input.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary RN for a defined patient group during the shift, delivering direct nursing care.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care using the nursing process in line with the medical plan of care.
  • Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate delivery of patient care across age groups as required by the assigned unit.
  • Provide patient and family teaching, discharge planning, and ensure appropriate documentation.
  • Delegate tasks to other licensed and unlicensed staff based on clinical competence and scope of practice.
  • Maintain accurate records, monitor patient safety, and ensure adherence to regulatory and professional standards.
Requirements
  • Active Registered Nurse license in California
  • BLS certification required (American Heart Association or equivalent)
  • Ability to work days with 12-hour shifts (36 hours per week)
  • Willingness to care for patients across age ranges per unit needs (oncology focus)
  • Prior inpatient RN experience; oncology or med-surgical background preferred
  • Ability to complete credentialing and onboarding requirements
