• Provide direct professional nursing care for a group of patients during designated shifts, in accordance with the nursing process and medical plan of care.
• Prescribe or delegate nursing care based on patient input, clinical assessments, and collaboration with the health care team.
• Coordinate delivery of patient care across age groups (unit‑dependent) including neonatal to geriatric as appropriate for the assigned unit.
• Incorporate teaching and discharge planning needs into the overall plan of care; document progress and modify plans as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and other team members to ensure comprehensive, safe patient care; delegate certain tasks to appropriate staff per scope of practice.
• This role is represented by CNA.

• Active California Registered Nurse license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ASN or BSN); BSN preferred
• Med‑surg experience preferred; travel assignment experience a plus
• Ability to work in a hospital setting and care for patients across age groups as required by the unit
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
