Registered professional nurse who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated shift. Prescribes nursing care based on the nursing process that is consistent with the medical plan of care and is based on input from the patient and significant others. Collaborates with the physicians and other members of the health care team and coordinates the delivery of patient care to patients of any age (depending on assigned unit) including neonatal, infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric.
Incorporates teaching and discharge planning needs in the overall plan of care. Delegates certain aspects of patient care delivery to other nursing staff based on their current clinical competence and legal scope of practice. This position is represented by CNA.This department provides triage, treatment and support for trauma and emergency patients of all ages in an acute care setting. If the department is designated as a trauma site, the hours and expenses related to triage and treatment of trauma patients is included.
However, the hours and expenses related to the administration and support of the Trauma program and it's services (i.e. Trauma registry, trauma coordinators) should not be included here.

This position is for an EPIC conversion. Candidates must have EPIC and Cerner experience within the last 5 years and have worked as an employee of an organization / successfully completed a contract. Each work history entry must list the charting system used. If multiple EMR systems are listed on one job, dates must be provided to clarify when each system was used.
No RTO is allowed. The listed start date is firm.
Auto Offer EPIC backfill, Day Shift, 36 or 48 hours, 12 hr shift, Must have EPIC experience.

Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice and Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification:
Required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS OR HS-ACLS OR RQIACLS) certification at time of hire and Demonstrated competency in Dysrhythmia during Orientation for all depts except for Obstetrics and NICU:
Required Critical Care Units:
Completing of Critical Care Course within 1 year of hire and Demonstrated competency in IV Sedation within 6 months of hire:
Required Perinatal:
Neonatal Resuscitation within 6 months of hire and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring within 6 months of hire and Advanced Fetal Monitoring within 1 year of hire required for the Labor&Delivery dept:
Required Perinatal:
