Med Surg/Stepdown RN

Tryfacta is seeking a Med Surg/Stepdown RN for our client in Marysville, CA 95901 United States. This is an 8-week contract assignment with high possibilities of extension.

Work Schedule:

Nights Guaranteed hours: 48hrs.

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies according to physician orders.
• Monitor patients' conditions and promptly report changes to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Ensure patient safety while following hospital policies, infection control, and quality standards.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care Medical-Surgical unit.

To be considered for this position, you should have:

• Medical-Surgical acute care experience
• Telemetry/Dysrhythmia interpretation
• Strong patient assessment and care planning
• Medication administration and discharge planning
• Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
• Experience using Epic EMR (preferred/required for this assignment)
• Active California RN License
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS
• Dysrhythmia competency during orientation
• BSN:
  Preferred
• Acute care nursing experience:
  Preferred
