• Assignment setting: travel nursing in a healthcare facility

• Provide direct nursing care to adult patients in Med Surg and Emergency Department settings, including assessments, care planning, and documentation in the electronic health record.
• Administer medications, including IV medications, per physician orders; monitor for adverse reactions and intervene as needed.
• Monitor patient status continuously, interpret vital signs, and elevate changes in condition to the medical team promptly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teammates to coordinate tests, treatments, analgesia, and discharge planning; educate patients and families on care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation, adhere to infection control practices, and participate in shift handoffs and on-call requirements.
• Adapt to unit needs in a Critical Access Hospital environment; perform duties in both Med Surg and ER as assigned; demonstrate teamwork and flexibility.

• Active RN license in Kansas or a multi-state (compact) license
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
• Experience in Med Surg and Emergency Department settings; CAH experience preferred
• Proficiency with IV medications and IV therapy
• Ability to work night shifts (7:00 pm–7:00 am) on a 3x12 schedule
• Eligible for travel assignments and able to work in Marysville, KS
