Role Summary
As the Salesforce Engineering Manager, you will lead the development execution across our dual-org environment, supporting mission‑critical operations for our Consumer Services and National & Field Sales teams. You will be responsible for the successful execution, delivery, and deployment of Salesforce solutions, working in close partnership with the product team, architects and business partners to focus on technical feasibility, design evaluation, driving AI‑assisted productivity, and maintaining a high‑velocity delivery pipeline.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with product and functional teams to translate prioritized requirements and high‑level designs into actionable development tasks and sprint plans.
- Own the end‑to‑end development lifecycle, ensuring the team meets deadlines and delivers work aligned with business objectives.
- Proactively identify and resolve technical or resource‑based blockers to maintain consistent team velocity.
- Critically evaluate technical designs to ensure they are buildable, scalable and follow Salesforce best practices.
- Establish and enforce coding standards; conduct regular code reviews to ensure maintainability and performance.
- Ensure adherence to established architectural frameworks and organizational technical standards.
- Direct, coach and mentor multiple Salesforce developer teams, fostering continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Manage resource allocation and team bandwidth to optimise the development pipeline.
- Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback to achieve a high‑performing culture.
- Take primary ownership of the deployment process, ensuring smooth transitions from sandbox to production.
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and automated testing suites to reduce deployment risks.
- Oversee post‑deployment support, bug fixes and technical debt management.
- Lead the evaluation and rollout of AI‑driven development tools to enhance coding efficiency, accuracy, and consistency.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and establish guidelines for ethical AI usage.
- 5+ years of experience in the Salesforce ecosystem, with at least 2 years in a dedicated people‑management or team‑lead role.
- Strong understanding of Apex, LWC, and Salesforce integrations; ability to critique complex technical designs.
- Proven track record of managing high‑volume development cycles and meeting delivery milestones.
- Experience working closely with Product Managers and Architects in a structured agile environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
The starting budgeted pay range for this role is $140,000–$164,700 per year. The role is also incentive eligible under our corporate bonus programs. For remote candidates in Alaska, California, Colorado, Illinois, New York, Oregon or Washington, state‑required pay thresholds will be factored into the base salary.
