Job Overview
Senior Developer of Applications Development – Manage the day‑to‑day technical aspects of software development projects within our Consumer Service and Support instance of The role requires a hands‑on approach to SFDC solution design, project delivery, platform maintenance, and technical oversight.
Job Responsibilities- Take an active role in development, contributing to complex Salesforce issues with expertise in Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Design and build Salesforce solutions that integrate with various Salesforce clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Consumer Goods Cloud, Salesforce Communities, and Knowledge).
- Develop solutions from configuration to customization using Flow Automation, Triggers, Visualforce, and Lightning Components.
- Participate in daily scrum meetings, analyze and assign user stories, and identify and resolve gaps in functional requirements.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to understand acceptance criteria and document technical designs.
- Automate business processes using Flows, Formulas, Assignment Rules, and Email Alerts.
- Build integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST, SOAP APIs, OAuth, and Single Sign‑On.
- Manage data updates and migrations using Data Loader and similar tools.
- Adhere to best practices for clean, maintainable code; perform code reviews, write unit/integration tests, and ensure at least 85% test coverage.
- Debug and resolve defects, especially in production environments.
- Mentor junior team members, providing technical guidance.
- Investigate complex issues independently and communicate solutions clearly.
- 5+ years of hands‑on Salesforce development experience in multi‑cloud environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong experience with Salesforce customization and configuration, including Service Cloud and at least one of Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Communities, or Knowledge.
- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, Flows, Triggers, Scheduled and Batch classes.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems via REST, SOAP, OAuth, and Single Sign‑On.
- Knowledge of the Product Development Lifecycle and familiarity with Dev Ops tools.
- Solid understanding of the Salesforce Deployment process and best practices.
- Experience in an Agile, collaborative environment and managing task assignments.
- Strong preference for Salesforce certifications:
Platform Developer I & II, Administrator, Advanced Administrator. - Preference for candidates with Solution and/or Technical Architecture experience.
Base salary range: $ – $ per year, based on skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. The role is also incentive‑eligible under corporate bonus programs.
