We're partnering with a well-established organization in the Marysville area to identify a Senior Accountant to join their collaborative finance team. This role provides broad exposure across accounting and finance, allowing you to gain experience in month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, and audit support while working alongside an experienced and highly respected leadership team.
What You’ll Do- Participate in monthly close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with financial reporting and maintaining accurate financial records
- Support the annual budgeting process and financial audit
- Provide backup support for accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Prepare and reconcile payroll-related and other balance sheet accounts
- Collaborate with a close-knit accounting team on process improvements and special projects
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
- 2+ years of accounting experience preferred
- Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- Team-oriented professional with strong communication and problem-solving abilities
