Target Compensation: $45,000 – $47,000

• Review W-2s, 1040s, and tax return documentation for accuracy
• Enter tax information into City Tax software with a high degree of precision
• Identify and flag discrepancies, including errors related to local tax withholding and tax credits
• Reconcile employer tax with holdings by comparing reported payments to W-2 records
• Assist with taxpayer inquiries and customer calls as needed

• Basic understanding of W-2s, 1040s, and tax preparation concepts
• Prior data entry experience with strong attention to detail
• Ability to organize and maintain accurate records, including alphabetized filing systems
• Must be able to sign a confidentiality agreement and pass a BCI/FBI background check
