Automotive Test Engineer - Vehicle Dynamics

Take your career to the next level with this contract engineering position at Honda R&D. This position is within the Brake Section of the Vehicle Dynamics Department.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Create plan for objective test that will ensure the targets are met for each stage of development.
Assist with determining major project resources.
Conduct objective test in accordance with the test procedure and complete all test documentation.
When test failures occur, conduct analysis, prepare C/M ideas, conduct testing, and report results.
Participate in project development meetings to share test results and help resolve multi disciplinary issues.
Requirements      BSME or BSMET degree as min. or significant, relevant Dynamics testing experience can be used as a substitute for degree. 1 3 years min. of vehicle dynamics test / Brake NVH experience preferred.
Ability to work in hands on environment, be self motivated and have strong mechanical and electrical trouble shooting skills.
Applies engineering principles, experiences, and various analysis tools.
Knowledge and experience with LMS Test Lab, Labview, Matlab and/or NI Compact

DAQ is preferred.
Experience using accelerometers, position and strain transducers preferred.
