The Senior Data Architect will lead enterprise-level data architecture initiatives that transform business requirements into scalable, secure, and efficient data solutions. This individual will design, implement, and maintain modern data architectures leveraging cloud technologies while ensuring governance, compliance, and alignment with strategic goals.

• Translate complex business needs into data models, metadata standards, and data governance frameworks.
• Define and maintain enterprise data architecture standards and documentation.
• Design and implement data systems such as databases, warehouses, and data lakes.
• Collaborate across IT, business, and analytics teams to deliver integrated and secure data solutions.
• Implement and manage data protection measures (filtering, masking, encryption, and fencing).
• Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies for data management and analytics.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with industry regulations (SOX, CCPA, GDPR, etc.).
• Lead architecture reviews, governance processes, and data strategy planning.
• Improve performance, scalability, and reliability of enterprise data pipelines.

• Designing and optimizing cloud data lake and warehouse solutions

• Establishing data protection strategies for storage, compute, and API layers.
• Partnering with leadership to develop long-term data strategy roadmaps

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field
  .
• 10+ years of data architecture and data modeling experience.
• Expertise in Erwin or similar data modeling tools.
• Strong proficiency in AWS, Redshift, Snowflake, or Databricks
  .
• Knowledge of real-time data tools (Kafka, Kinesis, Dataflow).

• Proven ability to design and deploy modern big-data architectures.
• Advanced understanding of metadata systems, data quality, and governance

• Background in data security, privacy, and compliance
  .
• Familiarity with data warehouse optimization and real-time analytics
  .
• 3+ years Big 4 consulting experience preferred.
