DEVOPS ENGINEER

Open Shift Container Platform OCP

ROLE PURPOSE Build automate secure and operate reliable enterprise container platforms that accelerate application delivery across on premises and cloud environments

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Dev Ops Engineer with deep expertise in Red Hat Open Shift Container Platform OCP to design implement automate and support enterprise grade containerized environments This role is responsible for Open Shift administration CICD pipeline development platform reliability infrastructure automation security and operational excellence across hybrid cloud and on premises environments

The ideal candidate has strong Kubernetes and Open Shift experience a passion for automation and the ability to partner with development infrastructure security and architecture teams to accelerate software delivery while maintaining platform stability and compliance

Open Shift Platform Administration

Administer and support enterprise Open Shift clusters across development test and production environments

Design and maintain highly available Open Shift architectures

Perform platform upgrades patching and lifecycle management

Manage Open Shift Operators name spaces projects resource quotas and policies

Troubleshoot cluster node network storage and application issues

Ensure platform reliability scalability and performance

Dev Ops and CICD Automation

Design build and maintain CICD pipelines using enterprise Dev Ops tools

Automate application build test deployment and release processes

Implement Git Ops practices and Infrastructure as Code IaC

Support container image creation repository management and deployment automation

Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment velocity and quality

Container and Kubernetes Operations

Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Open Shift and Kubernetes

Configure and maintain Build Configs deployment manifests routes services secrets and Config Maps

Optimize container resource utilization and scaling strategies

Develop and enforce container security standards and best practices

Platform Security and Compliance

Implement RBAC identity provider integrations and access controls

Support security scanning vulnerability remediation and compliance initiatives

Maintain secure management of secrets and sensitive configuration data

Partner with security teams to ensure adherence to organizational standards

Monitoring and Observability

Implement and maintain monitoring ing and logging solutions

Support enterprise observability platforms including Prometheus Grafana and centralized logging tools

Develop dashboards and operational health reporting

Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks

Cloud and Infrastructure Integration

Support Open Shift deployments across on premises and cloud platforms

Integrate platform services with enterprise networking storage authentication and cloud services

Enable resilient hybrid cloud and multicluster architectures

Support disaster recovery and high availability requirements

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or equivalent experience

Five or more years of Dev Ops Site Reliability Engineering or Infrastructure Engineering experience

Three or more years of handson Open Shift Container Platform administration experience

Strong knowledge of Kubernetes architecture and container orchestration

Experience supporting production critical environments

Handson experience with Red Hat Open Shift Kubernetes containers Gitbased workflows Linux administration Infrastructure as Code CICD tooling and scripting

Experience with Red Hat Open Shift Service on AWS ROSA
