Role Description
AWS Cloud Solutions
Design deploy and support AWShosted environments and applications supporting SDV and engineering initiatives
Provision configure and maintain non-production AWS resources including compute networking storage security services and container platforms
Administer Kubernetes Open Shift environments including creation and management of worker nodes and supporting cloud infrastructure
Monitor environment health troubleshoot issues and implement improvements for performance availability security and cost optimization
Solution Architecture Technical GovernanceReview application architectures code and deployment designs to ensure solutions are secure scalable reliable and supportable
Create architecture documentation deployment diagrams technical assessments and materials required for Architecture Reviews
Collaborate with engineering teams vendors cybersecurity infrastructure and governance teams to validate solution designs and obtain approvals
Identify technical risks recommend architectural improvements and provide technical leadership throughout the application lifecycle
SDV Platform EnablementSupport onboarding deployment and operation of Software Defined Vehicle SDV development and validation platforms
Collaborate with engineering teams to understand automotive software workflows infrastructure requirements and development tool chains
Evaluate new SDV technologies and assist with technical feasibility assessments and deployment planning
Promote Dev Ops CICD automation and cloud native practices that improve engineering productivity and software quality
Engineering Application SupportProvide architecture and technical consultation for IBM ELM and other engineering application platforms
Support application onboarding upgrades integrations and operational readiness activities
Evaluate vendor solutions and recommend deployment support and architectural approaches
Contribute to the longterm technical roadmap and evolution of engineering and SDV platforms
Required QualificationsBachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or related field
3 years of experience in solution architecture cloud engineering software engineering or application support
Experience administering AWS hosted environments and enterprise applications
Working knowledge of AWS services Kubernetes Open Shift networking security and software development lifecycle practices
Experience creating technical documentation and architecture diagrams
Strong analytical troubleshooting and communication skills
Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting automotive engineering applications or Software Defined Vehicle SDV initiatives
Experience with AWS Docker Kubernetes Open Shift Terraform Git Hub Jenkins and CICD pipelines
Familiarity with IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management ELM or similar engineering tool chains
Knowledge of automotive software development processes ASPICE ISO 26262 or related standards
AWS Cloud Practitioner or AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification
Success MeasuresSuccessfully onboard and support new SDVrelated applications and cloud environments
Improve solution quality and readiness for Architecture Reviews
Establish repeatable AWS deployment and operational support practices
Strengthen team capabilities in cloud architecture SDV platforms and engineering application support
