Job Description – THIS IS FOR 3RD SHIFT. This position requires fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English to comprehend safety‑sensitive training, procedures, and workplace communications.

Job Function

The purpose of this position is to perform water‑blasting work for MPW FEM.

Essential Functions

Continuously works in an efficient and safe manner.

Performs cleaning work as directed, including general floor cleaning, removing residue from underneath equipment, detailed cleaning of paint booth and ovens, covering area with plastic/paper, cleaning paint grates via caustic or water blasting, cleaning and dressing robots, setting up water blasters, changing nozzles and guns, and maintaining water blast equipment.

Assists with on‑the‑job training of new hires and transfers.

Keeps work areas and break areas in the cleanest possible condition.

Performs other duties as directed.

Additional Responsibilities

Ensures work is completed within the established timeframe and meets or exceeds customer quality standards.

Follows OSHA guidelines and MPW safety standards.

Follows directions from supervisor.

Reports any issues to supervisor immediately.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred; some high school education acceptable.
Understanding of mechanical concepts and applications.
Professional oral and written interpersonal communications.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Physical Requirements

Ability to move up to 50 lbs. with or without accommodation.
Ability to maintain a consistent workload involving physical manual labor.
Ability to maintain alertness and fitness for duty.
Ability to position oneself for work in and around confined spaces.
Ability to wear respirators in environments that may expose to chemicals, fumes, etc.
Ability to maintain workloads that may include travel to various states for days or weeks, and daily time frames that could exceed typical 8‑hour shift.
