Seasonal Packaging Operator - 3rd Shift; West Plant

Hourly Rate
: $21.00 – $21.00 per hour, paid weekly. Pay varies based on skills, qualifications, experience and location.

• Perform a safety check of equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Complete daily assignments as directed by the team group leader or supervisor.
• Maintain good housekeeping standards in the assigned area.
• Operate a forklift to transport materials.
• Ensure that stocks of needed materials are ready and available at all times.
• Learn multiple pieces of automated equipment and be flexible to move to different work stations daily.
• Effectively communicate and relay information to peers and/or supervisors about the performance of the production line.
• Perform various manufacturing inspection protocols to ensure plant quality standards on granular packaging products and display units.
• Adhere to plant safety rules and programs for yourself and other associates.

• Experience in a production plant; a minimum of one plus year preferred.
• Ability to drive a forklift and climb on/off equipment.
• Ability to climb multiple flights of stairs and meet man-lift requirements.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for 8‑12 hours a day in a dusty, hot, cold, or humid environment.
• Strong communication skills in English, ability to read and write English and follow instructions.
• Basic math skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to make decisions about equipment adjustments to meet product specifications.
• Team‑player mindset and promotion of teamwork across production lines, departments, and shifts.
• Must pass a minimum fit‑for‑duty physical test annually.
• Willingness to work mandatory overtime including weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
