Responsibilities
- Supervise a workforce of 20–30 hourly full‑time and up to 30 seasonal and temporary associates in a multishift operation across production, equipment maintenance, building and grounds maintenance, warehouse, distribution, and field operations.
- Assign work, monitor progress, orient and train associates, interview and recommend hiring of applicants, evaluate associate work performance, counsel associates, implement disciplinary action, and establish work schedules.
- Execute and enforce government, company, and plant laws, procedures, and policies.
- Ensure quality and quantity standards are met in a cost‑effective and efficient manner, maintain material and supply availability, and solve problems quickly when deviations occur.
- Communicate, implement, and monitor company‑provided safety programs and procedures.
- Foster a team environment and maintain positive associate relations to sustain a union‑free environment.
- Prepare and maintain various logs, records, and reports (production, maintenance, inventory, etc.), purchase supplies, parts and/or equipment, and assist in developing and monitoring the budget.
- Operate equipment side‑by‑side with workforce and assist other supervisors and Plant Manager in overall plant operations and special projects.
- Involve in plant productivity, goal setting, and execution of plant production goals.
- Proven supervisory experience with hourly workforce across multiple operational areas.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and ability to enforce policies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform basic mechanical and equipment operations.
- Experience in budgeting, inventory management, and report preparation.
Annual base salary range: $77,200.00–$90,800.00, adjusted for location, experience and qualifications. Bonus eligibility under corporate incentive programs.
Remote RolesFor remote employees residing in Alaska, California, Colorado, Illinois, New York, Oregon or Washington, state required pay thresholds will be factored into the base salary.
