Position
Description:
If interested in becoming the next senior pastor at Marysville Christian Church, please email with your resume, cover letter, and any sample links to previous sermons you have done. We prayerfully look forward to hearing from you soon!
Marysville Christian Church (MCC) is seeking a Biblically-based Lead Pastor with strong relational and leadership skills to lead our congregation of just under 200 people. We reside in Marysville, Ohio; a growing suburban city with strong, small-town character. Celebrating our church’s 50th anniversary, we are a committed group of believers, passionate in studying and growing in our faith. Our church’s maxim is, “Learn More, Love More, and Look More Like Jesus”.
Beyond this principle, we are currently excelling in offering bible studies on Sunday mornings and throughout the week. We provide food and other items in our growing food pantry. We are also known for hosting a week long Vacation Bible School (VBS) in the summer. We seek to grow in our relationships with one another as well as increase in having more families with children joining our congregation.
MCC will be entering a new season of ministry with the upcoming retirement of our current Senior Pastor, who has served faithfully for over 17 years. This provides a unique opportunity for a new leader to step in and continue our mission. The position is expected to begin in mid to late 2026, with an opportunity to work closely with the current Senior Pastor during the transition to ensure a seamless leadership handoff.
