Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Administers nursing care within the defined scope of practice under the direction of a registered nurse or other licensed medical professionals. Responsibilities include administering oxygen, applying sterile dressings, inserting catheters, and monitoring patients during procedures. Assists with physical exams, treatments, and laboratory tests, and provides emergency assistance as needed. Maintains medication accountability records, observes patient conditions, and prepares related reports and records.

Provides general nursing care and assists with daily living activities like grooming and hygiene. Orders medication and medical supplies and performs clerical tasks as necessary. Works collaboratively with lower-level direct care staff to provide supportive care to patients. Attends and participates in meetings and training programs as assigned. Cleans and organizes the nursing station and medication areas. Documentation and reporting of patient conditions and actions are essential duties.

Flexibility in hours and shifts is required based on facility needs.
