Laboratory Technician I
Our client, a leader in the food industry, is seeking a Laboratory Technician I to join their team. As a Laboratory Technician I, you will be part of the Science & Analytical Projects supporting laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will have dependability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.
Location:
Marysville, OH
Pay Range: $20.75
Shift: 8am - 5pm, Monday through Friday
What's the Job?
- Support Science & Analytical projects by performing routine analytical testing, sample preparation, and general laboratory support activities using established methods and Good Laboratory Practices.
- Manage samples by receiving, processing, tracking, preparing, shipping, and disposing of analytical sample requests.
- Perform routine chemical and physical testing on food-grade samples to ensure quality and safety standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, scientists, and lab team members to organize weekly workload and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Accurately record results, enter data into systems, and generate routine reports to maintain precise documentation.
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma (or GED) with three years of related experience, or an Associate degree or B.S. in a Science-related field with one year of related experience.
- Reliability and accountability in completing tasks accurately and on time.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Good communication skills and computer literacy.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards in a laboratory environment.
