Job Description

THIS JOB IS FOR 1ST SHIFT. LOOKING FOR A MECHANICALLY INCLINED CANDIDATE. YOU WILL EVENTUALLY HAVE TO TRAIN TO WATER BLAST AS WELL.
** JOB FUNCTION:
** This position will be responsible for preserving the good condition and functionality of the work site. You will perform a variety of maintenance tasks as directed by management.

* ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

**** 1.
** Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health andsafety standards.
** 2.
** Perform maintenance of electrical systems.
** 3.
** Perform manual repairs when necessary.
** 4.
** Perform PM inspections.
** 5.
** General repair of equipment.
** 6.
** May be required to work temporarily at field locations maintaining/repairing equipment.
** 7.
** Conduct general upkeep procedures.
** 8.
** Perform other duties as directed.

* QUALIFICATIONS:

**** 1.
** A minimum of High School Diploma with specialization in industrial or vocational trades preferred.
** 2.
** 1-2 years of technical school, or on the job experience preferred.
** 3.
** Specific exposure to an equipment or maintenance environment.
** 4.
** Knowledge of basic hand tools for general equipment repair.
** 5.
** Equipment systems experience a plus.
** 6.
** Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
** 7.
** Professional oral and written interpersonal communications.

* PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

**** 1.
** Ability to move up to 50 Lbs., with or without accommodation.
** 2.
** Ability to maintain a consistent workload that involves physical manual labor.
** 3.
** Ability to maintain alertness and fitness for duty.
** 4.
** Ability to position oneself for work conducted in and around confined spaces.
** 5.
** Ability to wear respirators in environments that may expose you to chemicals, fumes, etc.
** 6.
** Ability to maintain workloads that may include travel to a variety of states for days or weeks,and daily time frames that could exceed the typical 8-hour shift.
