Job Overview
Senior Trailer Technician at Schneider National – Marysville, Ohio (Full Time). Immediate start, remote work possible. This role performs major and minor repairs on company trailers, intermodal chassis, and containers, including accident damage and electrical system diagnostics. Will communicate status updates with internal customers.
Responsibilities- Repair or replace components on company trailers, chassis, and containers.
- Perform major accident damage repairs, including welding.
- Diagnose and repair all issues involving trailer electrical systems.
- Communicate status updates effectively with internal customers.
- Technical degree in welding, electronics, or related system, or a minimum of 2 years of trailer technician experience.
- Mastery of diesel technician tools, including hand and power tools, cutting and welding torches, frame and body straightening equipment, etc.
- Experience with computer systems and diagnostic software.
- Ability to provide personal tools within 30 days of hire.
