Akkodis is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Marysville, WA. The client is looking for a senior electrical design engineer with extensive aircraft interiors experience, capable of leading complex design projects, supporting certification activities, and collaborating with customers and cross-functional teams.
Rate Range: $60/hour to $72/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
- Develop and review complex electrical system designs and documentation.
- Support system integration, testing, certification, and installation activities.
- Coordinate with customers, vendors, and engineering teams throughout projects.
- Mentor engineers and ensure projects meet quality, budget, and schedule goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering.
- 8+ years of electrical design experience in the aviation industry.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft electrical systems and certification processes.
- Proficiency with CAD tools and technical documentation platforms.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with VIP or commercial aircraft interior modifications.
- Familiarity with Boeing platforms and OEM engineering data.
- Background leading engineering teams or major technical projects.
- Ability to travel and work across multiple stakeholders and project phases.
