As a Security Guard - Unarmed Full-Time Patrol Driver in Marysville, WA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will complete routine vehicle patrols, check for unusual activity, and document security-related observations. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will stay visible to help discourage incidents, respond to calls for assistance, and communicate clearly with residents, guests, and teammates while delivering reliable service with integrity.

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access guidelines, and incident reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or lighting concerns.
• Respond to alarms, disturbances, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting law enforcement and/or emergency services when appropriate and in accordance with post orders.
• Monitor entry points and controlled areas as assigned, verifying authorization, issuing visitor directions, and documenting deliveries and contractor activity per site policy.
• Complete shift logs and required reports using Allied Universal reporting tools, communicating noteworthy activity, hazards, and policy concerns to site management and Allied Universal supervision.

• A valid driver’s license from the state in which the job is located is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
