- Pay: $18.01 - $26.11 / hour
This position performs technical laboratory testing in the Clinic as requested by providers. Follows standard procedures for the various testing analysis, maintains equipment and supplies as needed. Collects specimens, draws blood and performs testing as requested. Generates laboratory reports and disseminates reports to requesting parties in a timely manner.
This position is employed by Mosaic Health Systems.
Duties- Receives and collects blood and urine specimens following CLIA and OSHA guidelines.
- Performs STAT testing and conducts tests for evaluating health status as requested.
- Performs control testing on all laboratory equipment daily and maintains appropriate records as outlined by CLIA guidelines.
- Responsible for quality controls and conducts PRO testing in a timely manner.
- Cleans and sterilizes laboratory equipment.
- Maintains inventory of supplies and orders; ordering when necessary.
- Inputs laboratory results in the computer system and files documentation as required.
- May perform supervisory functions or related work as directed by the Clinic Coordinator.
- Maintains strict patient confidentiality.
- Enhances professional growth through in-service and educational programs.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1 year of experience as a lab technician is preferred.
