About the OpportunityA growing global organization is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its Operations Finance team. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, supporting operational decision‑making, strengthening internal controls, and driving continuous process improvements across a dynamic supply chain business environment.

Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and company reporting requirements.
- Manage general ledger activities, journal entries, account reconciliations, and month‑end close processes.
- Support annual external audits and collaborate with corporate accounting teams to satisfy audit requirements.
- Analyze investments, operational performance, and financial results to support strategic business decisions.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and compliance procedures.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial planning initiatives.
- Manage and validate customer and supplier retroactive pricing programs.
- Lead inventory reconciliations and ensure accurate inventory valuation on financial statements.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, or operational environments.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles; IFRS experience highly preferred.
- Advanced experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
