Cross-train to perform Unit Secretary duties and related clinical support roles (e.g., Patient Care Technician, Nursing Specialty Technician, or Certified Nursing Assistant);
Provide administrative and clerical support including data entry, meeting minutes, bulletin boards, and downtime forms;
Manage ordering, stocking, and inventory of equipment and supplies; monitor PAR levels and organize unit supply rooms;
Assist with reception tasks and respond to patient calls; communicate with patients, families, and staff using AIDET;
Assist with patient care activities under supervision and help maintain a safe, clean, and functional unit environment
