The School Based Master's Level Program Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY

  • Responsible for the supervision, training and overseeing the daily operations of School Based Services and crisis intervention services as needed.

1. Works in a multi-disciplinary team approach to meet the needs of Clients

  • Attends supervision on a weekly basis without tardiness.
  • Attends and facilitates staff team meeting on a monthly basis without tardiness.
  • Responds to all flags, emails, and voicemails within 2 business days.
  • Ensure that all crisis situations are handled in a timely manner, whether in person or on the phone.
  • Work with Director and Services Coordinator as a team to insure effective program management.
  • Effectively communicate with school administration and staff.

2. Supervise and manage team to meet program standards.

  • Supervise and manage front line staff to ensure standards of quality.
  • Perform administrative duties as required by the McNabb Center.
  • Fill all vacancies with qualified applicants in a timely manner while effectively managing staff absences.
  • Effectively communicate management decisions to front line staff.
  • Maintain a healthy work environment by modeling supportiveness, effective communication, and leadership.
  • Ensure programs meet productivity targets.
  • Complete diagnostic intake assessments for all programs as needed.
  • Provide therapy coverage when therapists are out of office.

3. Lead by example.

  • Address all disciplinary issues, to include progressive disciplinary action if needed timely.
  • Display superior emotional adjustment and stability as displayed by non-reactive, non-judgmental attitude to crisis.
  • Display ability to implement change in a reluctant environment as needed.
  • Demonstrate effective delegation as needed.

4. Monitoring of treatment effectiveness and compliance.

  • Ensure all policies are accurate, thoroughly documented and consistently applied.
  • Make sound decisions when faced with multifaceted problems.
  • Devote appropriate time and effort to the development of professional competence as evidence by attending a minimum of three professional trainings annually.
  • Achieve optimal levels of desired program goals and outcomes as measured by program productivity standards.
  • Be available for clinical consult, as needed by staff members.

5. Completion of expected productivity as outlined at the beginning of each month.

  • Keep program Excel spreadsheets up to date.
  • Complete all reports by expected deadline.

COMPENSATION:

  • Starting salary for this position is approximately $57,662 /yr based on relevant experience and education.

QUALIFICATIONS - School Based Master's Level Program Coordinator

Experience:

  • Three years of direct experience in a human services or related field preferred.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.

Education / Knowledge:

  • A Master's degree in human services or related field with course work or experience in the areas of cultural diversity, human development, etiology and treatment of mental illness, alcohol and drug abuse, physical and sexual abuse, suicide, and intellectual disability.
