Registered Nurse - Acute Care Night

Role Overview

Provides clinical leadership in an acute inpatient setting, ensuring patient-centered care through evidence-based nursing practices. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while adhering to safety, quality, and compliance standards.

• Key Responsibilities:
  
  Conducts patient assessments, develops and updates individualized care plans with interdisciplinary teams, and sets measurable goals for discharge and ongoing care.
• Delivers direct patient care within the scope of practice, delegates tasks appropriately, and monitors care quality and safety.
• Uses performance indicators for quality improvement, documents thoroughly, and evaluates patient responses to interventions.
• Provides patient and family education, respecting cultural and spiritual beliefs, and facilitates smooth care transitions.
• Maintains professional competence, complies with licensing and organizational policies, and advocates for patients.

Associate Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred), at least one year of RN experience or equivalent residency/LPN experience, and current RN license. Demonstrates strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills.

Night shift, non-management role reporting to a supervisor. The role involves adherence to regulatory standards and organizational policies, with responsibilities expanding to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
