Licensed Practical Nurse - Neuroscience Med​/Surg, Full-Time, Night

Role Overview

Provides patient-centered nursing care under supervision, including data collection, monitoring, documentation, and patient/family instruction. Performs licensed patient care functions, ensuring individualized plans of care address physical, emotional, cultural, spiritual, and educational needs.

• Deliver care based on delegated plans, monitoring vital signs, dressings, lab values, and patient responses.
• Communicate observations and changes in patient status to healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate, confidential medical records.
• Use specialized equipment for data collection and assist with patient orientation.
• Administer and document medications per policy.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Completion of an accredited LPN program recognized by the State Board of Nursing.
• At least one year of LPN experience or equivalent residency/program completion.
• Current LPN license recognized in the practice state; RN licensure accepted temporarily if obtained.

Non-management role reporting to a supervisor; work primarily during night shifts in a Neuroscience Med/Surg department at a hospital facility.
