Registered Nurse (RN) Resident, September 2026, Emergency Department

Role Overview :

Responsible for participating in the Nurse Residency Program, including completing coursework, clinical competencies, and professional development activities. Works under supervision to refine nursing skills, manage clinical situations, and ensure adherence to organizational policies.

• Gather patient data, perform assessments, and identify needs under supervision of a licensed RN
• Develop and revise patient care plans, involving patients and families
• Provide treatments, procedures, discharge teaching, and advocate for patients
• Document patient care accurately, monitor for issues, and respond appropriately
• Delegate nursing tasks, participate in quality improvement, and ensure safe working conditions
• Perform clinical skills, support team functions, and handle assigned duties

• Associate degree in Nursing;
  Bachelor's preferred
• No prior experience required (up to 12 months eligibility)
• Current RN license or provisional license with NCLEX completion
• Ability to perform nursing assessments, procedures, and documentation
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills

Non-management role reporting to a supervisor, with responsibilities including ensuring compliance with policies and participating in clinical education. Night shift work at a healthcare facility. Requires current RN licensure recognized by the appropriate licensing authority.
