Description:
OPION OF 13 TO 26 WEEKS Shift: 3x12 Nights Floating to other like units may be required if needed Weekend coverage - every other but may change based on need Patient Diagnoses: higher oxygen demands, dialysis pts, afib, post heart cath Special procedures: step down from ICU no vents or pressor support, drips we can take: heparin, cardizem, amiodarone, sotolol initiation, telemetry Required Certificates: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS and TN license Unit will review 1st time travelers based on experience Must have at least 1 year of EPIC experience

Travel Compliance Extensions:
Effective 2/1/26 (Nursing only, excluding CVOR) Travelers cannot extend for a 4th consecutive contract. Travelers will need to begin the process of converting to an employee status after working their third consecutive 13-week contract or after 39 weeks. If the traveler does not wish to convert to a team member status, they will be required to take a minimum six-month separation before they are eligible to return as a traveler for the organization.
Travelers must be 100 miles from every Prisma facility (regardless of where they are applying) to be eligible to travel in the system, unless they are one of the two exceptions below 90-99.9 miles are accepted at a 10% bill rate reduction 100+ miles full bill rate Local radius: 60 miles For CRNAs only Will consider nurses with 1+ years of recent experience in unit.
Must send SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER with submittal. Orientation is every Monday. Pre Assignment testing (all RN s) and modules required for all travelers to complete within 48 hours of receiving the login information (which usually comes within 24 hours of the nurse signing their contract). Travelers are eligible for reimbursement for hours spent completing modules (up to 16 hours) and time will be verified upon start of contract.

Prisma Health’s goal is to keep staff in their home unit. However, it is a requirement for all assignments that agency staff, regardless of unit or facility, must float to other Prisma Health units and/or campuses per request due to census concerns. Staff will only be floating to units they are qualified for and performing tasks for which competencies have already been demonstrated and documented.

Modules are billable, up to 16 hours Modules are completed pre-start and not included in NBO, and completed annually Modules are recorded in transcripts by Prisma Health, time is not entered into timecards
