Orthopedic Nursing Opportunity
Provide specialized orthopedic nursing care to patients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and recovery. Administer medications, perform assessments, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality patient outcomes.
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to orthopedic patients during night shifts
Administer medications, including those via Omnicell system, following safety protocols
Conduct patient assessments and monitor postoperative recovery and pain management
Float to various units as needed based on skill set and census requirements
Complete all required pre-assignment testing and modules within designated timeframe
Document patient care accurately in EMR systems such as Epic and ensure compliance with all certifications
Hold an active TN RN license or multistate license valid in Tennessee
Possess at least 1 year of recent orthopedic unit experience
Demonstrate minimum of 1 year experience with Epic EMR system
Have current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
Be capable of working night shifts, 3×12 hours, with floating as required
Send Social Security Number with submittal for credentialing process
