Medical Surgical/Tele Nurse

$1836.00/week

Provide specialized nursing care for medical-surgical and telemetry patients in a hospital setting. Support patient recovery through monitoring, assessment, and administration of treatments in a fast-paced environment.

• Assess patient conditions and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
• Administer medications, including drips such as heparin, cardizem, amiodarone, and sotolol, following physician orders.
• Monitor telemetry patients and respond promptly to changes in patient status.
• Document patient care activities accurately in EPIC EMR system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with all required certifications and hospital policies.

• Hold a valid RN license with at least 1 year of recent EPIC EMR experience.
• Possess current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and Tennessee nursing licenses.
• Demonstrate experience in medical-surgical and telemetry units.
• Able to float to other units as needed and perform assigned clinical tasks proficiently.
• Capable of working 12-hour night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30.
• Willing to cover every other weekend and floating to different units as required.
