Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

$1860.48/week -

Job Summary:

Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced hospital setting. Ensure patient safety, deliver comprehensive assessments, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions quickly and accurately upon admission.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and clinical protocols.
• Monitor patient responses and update documentation in the EPIC system.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare team members to develop and update care plans.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, procedures, and post-discharge care.
• Float to other units as required, demonstrating flexibility and maintaining competency across clinical areas.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license in Tennessee.
• Possess at least 1 year of recent ER experience.
• Have valid ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, CPI, PALS certifications.
• Complete EPIC EMR experience with at least 1 year in a clinical setting.
• Preferred: TNCC certification is highly desirable.
• Demonstrate excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
