Role Summary
Provides clinical leadership in an acute inpatient setting, ensuring patient-centered care through evidence-based nursing practices.
ResponsibilitiesConducts comprehensive patient assessments, develops and updates individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams, and ensures safe, quality care. Delegates tasks appropriately, monitors care quality, and evaluates patient responses to interventions to revise plans as needed. Focuses on patient safety, documentation, and compliance with regulatory standards. Facilitates patient education, advocates for patients, and promotes continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & SkillsRequires an associate degree in nursing (bachelor's preferred), one year of RN experience or equivalent residency/LPN experience, and a current RN license recognized in the practice state. Demonstrates professional accountability, communication skills, and adherence to policies and safety protocols.
Additional InformationNo management responsibilities; reports to a supervisor. Ability to work variable shifts in an inpatient hospital environment.
