Licensed Practical Nurse; LPN; Medical​/Surgical Nursing - Night

Provides nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician, focusing on data collection, patient monitoring, and family education.

• Delivering patient-centered care based on individualized care plans that address physical, emotional, cultural, spiritual, and psychosocial needs.
• Monitoring and documenting patient status, including vital signs, dressings, drains, and lab results.
• Communicating observations and changes in patient condition to healthcare providers.
• Maintaining accurate, confidential medical records.
• Using specialized equipment for data collection and orienting patients and families to routines.
• Administering and documenting medications as per policy.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.

• Completion of an accredited LPN program recognized by the State Board of Nursing.
• At least one year of LPN experience or equivalent training, such as residency programs or LPN to RN transition programs.
• Current LPN license recognized by the NCSBN Compact or the state of practice.

Knowledge of nursing practices is expected, with a focus on compliance, patient safety, and effective communication.

Night shift at a medical-surgical unit, reporting to a supervisor, with no management responsibilities.
