Role: Responsible for supporting new graduate nurses through a structured Nurse Residency Program, including participating in classes, workshops, and clinical competencies.
Key Duties: Assist in patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, provide treatments, and ensure adherence to safety and organizational policies. Document patient care accurately, delegate tasks appropriately, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Act under the supervision of licensed RNs and maintain compliance with licensure, infection control, confidentiality, and other policies.
Qualifications & Skills: Must have an Associate degree in Nursing, current RN license or provisional license, and no more than 12 months of experience. Strong critical thinking, communication, and adherence to ethical standards are essential.
Additional Information: Non-management role reporting to a supervisor, with variable shifts and location in a hospital setting. The program aims to build foundational nursing skills and promote professional development in a collaborative environment.
