Licensed Practical Nurse; LPN; Acute Care, Medical​/Surgical Nursing Nights

Provides nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician, including data collection, patient monitoring, and documentation. Responsible for patient and family education and performing licensed patient care functions.

• Deliver patient-centered care based on individualized plans, addressing physical, emotional, cultural, spiritual, psychosocial, and educational needs.
• Monitor and document patient status, including vital signs, drains, dressings, and lab values.
• Report observations and changes in patient condition to healthcare team members.
• Maintain accurate, confidential medical records.
• Collect and document data using specialized equipment, and orient patients and families to routines.
• Administer and document medications per policy.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

This is a non-management role reporting to a supervisor or manager.

• Completion of an approved LPN program recognized by the State Board of Nursing.
• At least one year of LPN experience or equivalent residency/training programs.

• Current LPN license recognized by the NCSBN Compact or the state of practice.
• For those pursuing RN licensure, temporary acceptance until RN licensure is obtained.

Knowledge is not specified; strong communication and caregiving skills are implied.
