We are seeking a dynamic & experienced Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the finance & insurance process for our marine products, ensuring seamless transactions & exceptional customer service. This role requires a proactive leader with strong organizational skills, a customer‑centric approach, & the ability to collaborate effectively with the Sales Team.
Lead, mentor, & motivate the boat sales team to achieve & exceed sales targets. Present & sell extended service contracts & protection products using a structured menu‑selling system, emphasizing a feature‑benefit‑value approach. Foster a servant leadership culture, leading by example & promoting a team‑oriented environment. Collaborate effectively with the sales team to streamline processes & enhance customer satisfaction. Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the team's product knowledge & sales techniques.
Customer
Experience:
Uphold a customer‑first philosophy, ensuring each client receives personalized & attentive service. Address & resolve customer concerns promptly, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Provide transparent & ethical services.
Operational Excellence:
Manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast‑paced environment. Utilize available resources to proactively solve problems & improve processes. Maintain a high level of detail orientation to ensure accuracy in all transactions.
Documentation & Compliance:
Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately & complies with federal, state, & local regulations. Maintain organized records & manage contracts to guarantee timely funding. Stay updated on legal requirements & industry standards to ensure compliance.
Technology & Resource Utilization:
Leverage dealership management systems & F&I software to optimize operations. Continuously seek & implement tools & resources to enhance efficiency & customer experience.
Proven experience as an F&I Manager or similar role in the marine, automotive, or recreational vehicle industries. Strong knowledge of financing, insurance products, & compliance regulations.
Exceptional interpersonal & communication skills, with a customer‑focused approach.
Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, & collaborate with a sales team.
Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail & a sense of urgency.
Proficiency in dealership management systems & other relevant technologies.
Self‑motivated with the ability to take initiative & work independently.
Ability to effectively sell ancillary products using a structured feature‑benefit‑value process.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred, but not required with adequate experience. Minimum of 3‑5 years of experience in finance & insurance management within a dealership environment.
