Position: Keyholder (P/T), Mashpee Commons

Crew Position

Responsibilities
  • The Keyholder assists with daily operations of the store, including sales, customer service, and safeguarding assets.
  • Understands the Southern Tide brand, lifestyle, and merchandise.
  • Presents and sells merchandise consistent with the brand, providing suggestions to customers.
  • Provides merchandising suggestions to management to improve sales.
  • Builds a personal client book.
  • Learn and troubleshoot the point‑of‑sale system, performing routine register transactions, inventory receiving and transfers, opening/closing registers, and store.
  • Shares product knowledge to provide recommendations and professional service to enhance the shopping experience.
  • Actively participates in store‑related meetings, working towards exceeding sales and service performance goals set by store management.
  • Operates the store consistently with company policies and procedures.
  • Provides ideas to grow and improve the business (merchandising, staffing, floor displays, fixturing, advertising, promotion, hours of operation, etc.).
  • Safeguards assets and maintains inventory integrity.
  • Prevents inventory shrink.
  • Assists in cycle counts and year‑end physical inventory.
  • Opens/closes registers and store in the absence of the manager or assistant manager.

  • Proficient oral and written communication skills.
  • Appreciates teamwork and interaction with others.
  • Multitasks and stays organized; takes initiative when needed.
  • Enjoys a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Is flexible and problem‑solving.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of retail experience.
  • Advanced computer skills, Excel and Word.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel; lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Works varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Pay Range

Pay range: $18-$22 per hour, depending on experience.
