Outside Sales Representative

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Outside Sales Representative to join a well-established, family-owned lumber and building materials company covering Cape Cod and the Islands. In this role, you will focus on growing and maintaining relationships with builders, contractors, and homeowners while expanding the company's presence throughout the territory.

• Manage and grow an established sales territory throughout Cape Cod and the Islands.
• Call on residential builders, remodelers, contractors, and homeowners.
• Provide product expertise across lumber and building materials.
• Develop new business opportunities while maintaining long-term customer relationships.
• Coordinate with inside sales and operations teams to ensure exceptional customer service.
• Conduct regular jobsite visits and customer meetings.

• 2+ years of outside sales experience within lumber or building materials preferred.
• Knowledge of residential construction and contractor sales.
• Existing relationships within the Cape Cod market highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the territory.

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated with a high level of accountability.
• Organized and responsive with strong follow-through.
